In order to ensure that Identification Events are a success for all those involved, there is a great deal of planning that must go into them. In order to assist in this process, we have put together a “Pre-Event Check List” which includes items that you should have readily available at all events, a check list to ensure all equipment is functioning and event signage to designate event location, registration, etc.

  • Suggested Items to have at your Child ID Event

    • Paper – 500 SHEETS
    • CD Media and CD Sleeves – 100-200
    • Sharpie Markers (3 per Unit)
    • Pre-Interview Forms (100-200)
    • Permission Slips
    • Ink Pens
    • Scissors
    • Tape Measure (1 per Unit) & Height Chart (1 per Event)
    • Weight Scale
    • Clip Boards
    • Power Strip (1 per Unit)
    • Extension Cords (1 per every 3 Units)
    • Scotch Tape to clean Scanner lens (1 per Unit)
    • Hand Wipes to clean Child’s hands
    • Extra Ink Cartridges (1 set per unit)
    • Event Signs
    • Registration Table
    • Fold Up Table for Unit (2 Units per 6 Ft. Table)
    • Chairs for Volunteers
    • Candy (KEEP KIDS HAPPY)
  • SET UP SYSTEMS 1 HOUR PRIOR TO EVENT AND TEST ALL EQUIPMENT:

    • Make sure paper is loaded and Printer is on
    • Test extra mouse and keyboard
    • Go through entire data entry and make sure zip codes are installed
    • Acquire all 10 fingerprints
    • Take Photo and Video and test video to ensure you receive sound
    • Print Form and Burn a CD

ONCE EVERYTHING IS TESTED, HAVE VOLUNTEERS GO THROUGH A QUICK TRAINING SESSION
